According to media reports , Bahria Town management planned to start TV channels in Pakistan. Bahria Town is owned by well known personality and property tycoon Malik Riaz. In past year we have also heard first from Indian media and than GEO News about the ownership of BOL TV. And they linked it with Malik Riaz, but Malik Riaz clearly denied his engagement with BOL Media Group.
But this time Bahria Town clearly planned to invest in media industry of Pakistan. According to media news , Bahria Town will launch News Channel, Sports, Entertainment and Property TV channel. But it’s interesting how already established media welcome the new TV channel which have strong back bone.
The current media already shown their real face during Axact and BOL issue. But this time they are saying this will boost the industry. The double standard of Pakistani news paper and TV channels are clearly visible.
