PTA introduces good facility for the mobile phone users

PTA has launched a new and powerful online system to lock mobile phones in case of snatching or theft. Moreover, if the phone is discovered, the phone owner will be able to re-open the phone.

In this regard, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) says that people can submit their complaints by calling on the toll-free number 0800-55055. This PTA service is available seven days a week from 9 am to 9 pm. On the submission of the complaint, PTA will issue a complaint number to the customer.

CPLC Reports on the mobile Phone Snatching Case:

Furthermore, according to the records of CPLC, around 70 to 75 mobile phones are snatched on a daily basis in Karachi. Moreover, according to the reports, about 10,000 mobile phones have been stolen from the citizens this year.

As a matter of fact, in the year 2020, around 21,558 phones have been snatched from the people of Karachi. Due to his reason, PTA has launched this new scheme of online blocking of the phones.

If, in case, smartphone is snatched or stolen, there is no need to worry. PTA LSDA is providing the facility to block the phone. Due to this, the important data of the citizens will be safe.

According to the officials of PTA, if the mobile owners get their phones back, they can open their locked phones by sending the activation request to PTA. In this regard, the user has to contact the PTA Complaint Management System.

To re-open their mobile phones, the users have to refer to the tracking Identity or the complaint number that PTA management provides them previously. Those people who submitted the complaints will be able to check their complaint status after twenty-four hours.

Citizens can find out their complaint status through SMS or PTA’s official website. Moreover, they can also find the progress by downloading the PTA’s smartphone application.

After seeing the extended mobile snatching cases, PTA has launched the latest online system to block and restore mobile phones in stolen or instances of theft. People now block their phones easily in case of theft. In this way, their crucial data will be safe.
