Court Announces 4 Death Penalties to Imran Ali in Zainab Case


In Zainab rape and murder case the Anti-Terrorism Court announced 4 death penalties to the accused Imran Ali today. Imran Ali was the accused in the murder and rape case of a six-year-old girl in Kasur last month. He lived near the house of victim and kidnapped her when she was going to the tuition. He killed that small girl in a brutal way and on this massacre the nation demanded the justice.

Today the court grant 4 death penalties in Kot Lakhpath Jail and 2 millions fine. The four death penalties were for kidnapping, raping and murdering Zainab, and for committing an act of terrorism under Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act. 1 million fine for the sodomy and another 1 million fine for concealing the body of the girl in a trash heap.

He also admitted the crime of killing and raping other small girls of the town but this penalty was on the Zainab case. There was almost 35 evidence against Ali and the science proves as well. The convict now has the 15 days to challenge and file the appeal. It is the first time in Pakistan’s history that a trial was completed in four days with 13-hour-long proceedings daily.
