In fact, the number of Pakistani students studying in Canada has been steadily increasing in recent years. If you’re a Pakistani student who wants to study in Canada, there are a few things you need to do to get a Canada Student Visa.

Choose a Designated Learning Institution (DLI)

The first step is to choose a Designated Learning Institution (DLI). DLIs are educational institutions that have been approved by the Canadian government to accept international students. You can find a list of DLIs on the Government of Canada’s website.

When choosing a DLI, there are a few factors you’ll want to consider, such as the program you’re interested in, the cost of tuition, the location of the school, and the student support services offered. You’ll also want to make sure that the DLI is accredited by a recognized body in Canada.

Apply for Admission to the DLI

Once you’ve chosen a DLI, you need to apply for admission. The admission requirements will vary depending on the institution and the program you’re interested in. However, you will typically need to provide your academic transcripts, standardized test scores, and letters of recommendation before you can get Canada Student Visa.

Meet the Financial Requirements

In order to get a Canada Student Visa, you need to show that you have enough money to support yourself during your studies in Canada. The amount of money you need will vary depending on the length of your program and your living expenses. However, you should generally expect to show that you have at least CAD$10,000 in funds available.

You can show your financial support in a number of ways, such as:

  • A bank statement showing that you have enough money in your account.
  • A letter from a sponsor who agrees to support you financially.
  • A scholarship or financial aid award letter.

Apply for a Study Permit

Once you’ve been accepted to a DLI and you’ve met the financial requirements, you can apply for a study permit. You can apply online or by mail. The application fee is CAD$150. Your study permit application will be reviewed by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). If your application is approved, you will be issued a study permit that allows you to study in Canada for the duration of your program.

Get a Medical Examination

As part of your study permit application, you will need to get a medical examination. The medical examination must be completed by a doctor who is authorized by IRCC. You can find a list of authorized doctors on the IRCC website. The medical examination will check your health and make sure that you are not a threat to public health in Canada. The results of your medical examination will be sent to IRCC and will be considered as part of your study permit application.

Submit Your Application

Once you have completed all of the required documentation, you can submit your study permit application to IRCC. You can submit your application online or by mail. If you are applying by mail, you will need to send your application to the IRCC office in your home country. You can find the address of the IRCC office in your home country on the IRCC website.

Wait for a Decision

Once you have submitted your study permit application, you will need to wait for a decision from IRCC. The processing time for study permit applications varies, but it can take several weeks or even months. If your application is approved, you will be issued a study permit that allows you to study in Canada for the duration of your program. You will also be issued an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA), which is required for all visa-exempt foreign nationals who are traveling to Canada by air.

Arrive in Canada

Once you have received your Canada Student Visa and eTA, you can travel to Canada. When you arrive in Canada, you will need to present your passport, study permit, and eTA to a Canadian immigration officer. The immigration officer will check your documents and determine if you are eligible to enter Canada. If you are eligible, you will be granted entry into Canada, and you can begin your studies.
