Hyundai Elantra is one of the most favorite and highly anticipated car in Pakistan. Customers were anxiously waiting for the launch of their favorite vehicle. Here’s the good news for car enthusiasts as Hyundai Nishat is all set to launch Elantra in Pakistan on March 21. The news can be seen across the official social media accounts of motor company.
However, details regarding the event are not revealed yet. Hyundai only hinted the launch of their most anticipated motor and people are guessing it right.

Hyundai is a South Korean joint venture of Millat Tractors Ltd., Sojitz Corporation (Japan) and Nishta Group. The motor corporation has a good capacity of 15,000 vehicles annually. With 14 dealers in Pakistan, the company is favorite to many. The company made its first ever assembling plant in Pakistan in 1993. The yellow cab scheme was its first ever project within the country.
The Auto Development Policy 2016-2021 which is to end by June 2021 is the biggest reason for the maximum production of vehicles in the country. According to policy, the companies who will be launching vehicles during this period will get good tax incentives for five years.
About Hyundai Elantra
Elantra belongs to the luxury sedan class from which Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla belong. Hyundai Pakistan was to launch the vehicle before 2020 but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was delayed.
According to reports, Elantra will feature a 1.6L Naturally Aspirated 4-Cylinder Petrol Engine which shows good efficiency by producing 122hp and 156Nm of torque. The vehicle will offer a 6-speed CVT automatic gearbox.
To ensure smooth and safe drive, it will have the cruise feature and a tyres pressure monitoring system.

However, not enough information is revealed regarding the other features and price of Hyundai Elntra. But, the vehicle is to compete Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic. Therefore,it is likely to be priced between Rs 3.5 million and Rs. 4 million.
