In a bid to keep the focus of Pakistani audience to the brand-new MG Motors, Javed Afridi has teased the brand-new MG Extender pickup trust. This massive new vehicle is going to be a direct competitor of Toyota Hilux and bring in more variety to the Pakistan car market.
While most of the car makers are launching smaller vehicles, Javed Afridi has made it his mission to bring in as many mega new projects to Pakistan as possible. The new MG Extender is the biggest example of it. After the success of MG HS and MG ZS, the mastermind shared the possibility of MG 3 Hatchback and now it seems like the pickup truck is also under consideration.
So far Javed Afridi has just shared pictures of the vehicle with his fans on Twitter. Not much has been revealed about the vehicle, except that it appears to be coming to Pakistan soon.

The new vehicle is a 4 x 4 pick up truck with double cabin, something that was only given to us in Toyota Hilux before. It is also expected that the MG Extender will also come with the option of a 4 x 2 drive with a giant cab and i-Smart Intelligent System.

- Six speed manual transmission or 6 speed automatic transmission
- 2.0 liter turbo charged engine
- The engine is capable of delivering 161 horsepower and 374 NM of torque
- A diesel engine is also a possibility at the moment
