Army to Organize ‘Motor Rally’ for 70th Year of Independence

Islamabad: In Islamabad Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced earlier that Pakistan Army will be organizing ‘ Motor Rally ‘ across Pakistan. The event will start from 21st October and will be organised for the celebration of the 70th year of independence of Pakistan.

With respect to the announcement, the Pakistan Motor Rally will start from October 21, 2017 and will end on 31 October, 2017.

This rally is supposed to include more than 300 jeeps, 150 vintage vehicles and 500 bikers. These pieces of vehicles are gathered from 23 motor clubs across Pakistan.

The rally will start from Khunjrab, located at the northern point of the country and will pass through Gilgit, Islamabad, South Waziristan, Karachi and Quetta. The end point of the rally is Gawadar.

Rally will cover about 3000 kilometers in total.

According to the statement of the ISPR, the routes of the rally are less visible and chosen with extra efforts and will serve as a seed for prosperity in Pakistan.

The basic aim of the rally is to promote adventure sports in Pakistan and to showcase cultural heritage, sports talents and country’s tourism potential.

Though there are certain predefined rules for becoming the part of the rally. The first rule includes that you must be joining willingly and must accept ‘the risk of driving on the stretch of road that makes up the rally site, knowing that it may be dangerous’
