Omair Rana was caught in a controversy back in June of 2020 when multiple female students of Lahore Grammer School levied sexual harassment allegations against the male faculty of the school. Omair Rana got a start in his career with theater. He fell in love with acting and particularly with theater from an early age. He also had multiple internships at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He was the man who brought IGCSE Drama to Pakistan in 2009 and after that, he received a lot of recognition for his roles in premier dramas.
In 2019, Omair was named the CLF Goodwill Ambassador for Children’s Literature Festival 2019. He has his own theater company named Real Entertainment Productions which was founded in 2000 and to date, it has produced 50 plays.
