Pakistan confirms to tour Zimbabwe in April


The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed the visit of Pakistan Cricket Team in April to Zimbabwe. Pakistani team is to visit Zimbabwe for three T20 internationals and two tests.

Earlier, it has been decided by PCB to send team on tour under the ICC Future Tour Program. But, board will keep COVID-19 situation into account.

Recently, two countries have agreed to cancel their women limited-over series due to the termination of operations by Emirates Airline. Emirates Airlines announced to suspend all flights to and from Harare from 13 February to 28 February.

Zimbabwe tour

Amidst the situation, confusions were going on regarding the men’s team series. PCB thanked cricket board of afore-mentioned country for understanding the situation. PCB assured to complete women’s series in near future.

However, Zimbabwe will be happy to see green shirts in their grounds as the series between the countries were postponed since September 2020. After its visit to South Africa, PCB has decided to send Pakistan to Zimbabwe. The series is likely to take place from April 17.
