The pictures of the 2025 BMW 4-Series and the M440i coupe have been leaked are circulating the internet since morning. Certain sections of both cars are under wraps in leaked pictures, but there are certain things that you cannot hide, even with camouflage.
It looks like the grill design on both vehicles will be changed after it is revamped in 2020. While it hasn’t been so long before the grill was introduced, it looks like it will be recycled and changed with something monstrous soon.
Here is everything you need to know about the changes brought to both the 2025 BMW 4-Series and M440i coupe.
Changes Made to 2025 BMW 4-Series and M440i Coupe
A total of three vehicles were seen on the road under wraps and were taken advantage of by spy photographers. The pictures suggest subtle changes and nothing too drastic, but these changes are expected to be great in terms of the vehicle it will come to.
The trio of prototypes consists of the BMW 4-Series Coupe G22 with two doors and updated with Life Cycle Impulse (LCI). One of them is silver and equipped with the M Sport Package, while the remaining two are presumably M440i variants.
Speculations suggest that BMW may eliminate the regular body kit option from the 2025 BMW 4-Series facelift range and outfit all trims with M Sport bumpers. The current model’s sporty bumper intakes and exposed grille are nearly indistinguishable from the ones at the front of the prototypes.
The M440i also exhibits similar traits, but its concealed grille may be hiding some alterations. The prototypes showcase revamped LED graphics on their headlights, reflecting the boomerang-shaped DRLs found on newer BMW models such as the facelifted X5/X6.
As anticipated, the side view remains exposed as the German automaker has no reason to conceal it except for the potential inclusion of fresh alloy wheel designs and additional colors to the palette. The rear end features a red film covering the taillights, obstructing our view of the new LED graphics that seem to have a more straightforward design.

For now, the M Sport rear bumper seems to have been retained, despite the camouflage wrap that might be concealing some variations in the trim. Considering the 2023 updates to the interior of the 4-Series and M4, we do not anticipate any significant alterations with the impending facelift.
The model already features the BMW Curved Display equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.9-inch touchscreen, steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, and an updated gear selector. As for the infotainment software, BMW has already revealed the Android-based Operating System 9, which will be progressively implemented throughout the entire lineup.
The facelifted 2025 BMW 4-Series is projected to commence production in early 2024, marking four years since the second generation was introduced. It is reasonable to expect that the aforementioned revisions will be extended to the Cabriolet (G23) and Gran Coupe (G24) body styles of the 4-Series in addition to the Coupe (G22).
Currently, there is no intel regarding the forthcoming engine range, but a heightened emphasis on electrification will likely be implemented.
