Poco C40: Expected Features,Price and Release Date

Poco is going to release its new handset Poco C40 on 16th June. The company has begun exposing some of the important features of its coming C-series smartphone ahead of the launch. The brand has revealed that the upcoming Poco C40 will run on 6000mAh battery. Company has unveiled the back panel design also, which will feature a fingerprint scanner at rear side.

Design

According to the teaser, Poco will stick to its peculiar design language, with a large rectangular island surrounding the camera module that will also contain the Poco branding in large letters.

Primary Specifications of Poco C40

It features a 6.71-inch IPS LCD having 720p resolution, a 6,000-mAh battery, and a 13-megapixel primary camera. In addition, the POCO C40 boasts 64 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM. The upcoming C40 is an entry-level handset that will most likely be Poco’s cheapest smartphone for worldwide markets to date.

Technology Used in Poco

Poco chose the 11nm chipset SJR510 from JLQ Technology instead of a Qualcomm, Unisoc or MediaTek chip. The SoC is built on an 11nm technology and has an eight-core design, with four cores operating at 2.0GHz and four more running at 1.5GHz. It is reported to have performance comparable to Helio G35 and Snapdragon 450.

The Shanghai-based chipset manufacturing company, founded in 2018, presently employs around 500 workers, making it substantially smaller than its rivals. JLQ Technology has yet to reveal which cores run the JR510. Though its twin quad-core CPU clusters should enable it compete with Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 and MediaTek Helio G35.
