Realme GT 5G with Snapdragon 888 is to launch on March 4 globally. Previously, Realme GT was called as Realme Race which has been teased by the Chinese smartphone maker. However, the handset has passed the TENAA certification in the following month.
Last year in December, Realme officially revealed the picture of the handset giving an idea about the outlook of phone. The launch event is scheduled for 2:00 pm, means 11:30am IST for Indian viewers. However, now as the handset is to go official, let’s have a look at its possible specifications.
Realme GT 5G with Snapdragon 888 launch
A poster stating the announcement date of Realme GT 5G was shared on Weibo today. The poster doesn’t mention any specs particularly but it confirms the name of handset. Realme GT 5G name was an influenced one from the concept of GT sports cars. As GT sports cars are renowned for high-speed and long-distance driving, likewise handset is expected to show the high performance and reliable attributes. Realme declares the utilization of Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset which shows the high performance of phone.
Realme GT 5G expected specifications
While looking on the teaser image of handset, it is expected that handset is to feature a 6.8-inch display with 1440 x 3200 pixels resolution. However, it is confirmed that device is to hold a Snapdragon 888 5G chipset. Realme GT is likely to hold 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device could have 128GB and 512GB storage options too. Furthermore, aforementioned phone is expected to feature an AMOLED display with a punch-hole selfie camera with 120Hz refresh rate and triple camera system of 64MP.
The handset is rumored to feature a 5000Mah battery with 125W UltraDart fast charging technology. The fast charging feature is likely to charge 4,000Mah battery upto 30-35% within three minutes.
