Samsung Galaxy A6 and A6 Plus in Pakistan: Detailed Review, Pricing and Availiblity

Samsung Pakistan recently announced the Samsung Galaxy A6 in Pakistan, alongside Galaxy A6 Plus, J6 and J4, in an innovative meet and greet with their retail partners in the country. While the J4 and J6 were heavily marketed before the launch, Samsung, for some odd reason, decided not to heavily advertise the Samsung Galaxy A6 in Pakistan.

Nevertheless, the Galaxy A6 2018 and A6 Plus 2018 seem like pretty promising mid-range to high-end phones for the Pakistani market.

The Samsung Galaxy A6 2018 seems like a proper mid-range device that sports all the features and specifications you’d expect from a phone in this price segment.

This phone is both impressive and solid by built and design. It sports a 5.6” HD+ Super AMOLED display with compact bezels and a high screen-to-body ratio. It runs Android Oreo 8.0 out-of-the-box and is powered by the Octa-Core Exynos 7870, coupled with 3/4 Gigs of RAM and 32/64 GB of Built-in storage.
The processor may actually be a disappointment since Samsung has been using the same processor in their mid-range and low-end smartphones for a couple of years now.

Moving on to the camera, there’s a 16MP Lens of the front with aperture f/1.7, which would ensure clear and bright images, irrespective of the lighting conditions.
The front camera is also pretty impressive with it being a 16MP shooter with aperture f/1.9.

The battery installed in the Samsung Galaxy A6 2018 packs 3000 mAh, which isn’t bad at all. Other features include Voice cancellation, Dolby Atmos Sound (for headphones), fingerprint and all the necessary sensors.

Samsung Galaxy A6 Plus (2018)

The Samsung Galaxy A6 Plus is more or less a high-end device, and a pretty impressive one. The design is pretty similar to the Galaxy A6, but with a bigger 6.0” Super AMOLED screen and a significantly better display resolution of FHD+.

Samsung, yet again, has disappointed as far as the processor is concerned. This device runs on the SnapDragon 450, coupled with 3/4 GB RAM and 32/64 GB Internal storage. Nevertheless, the mediocre processor seems like the only drawback of the phone.

The Galaxy A6 Plus sports a dual camera setup on the rear with one being a 16MP lens and the other being a 5MP Lens.
The front camera on this device is also extremely impressive as Samsung has placed a 24MP lens on the front.

The Samsung Galaxy A6 Plus comes with a bigger 3500 mAh battery, along with a fingerprint sensor, Noise cancellation, Dolby Atmos sound for headphones and all the sensors you’d expect on such a device.
