Shahid Afridi, former Pakistan Cricket Captain and given the title of Boom Boom by his fans for his blistering batting style, is opening his Cricket Academy in Karachi. The news came directly from him, and his fans consider it the perfect decision to further his legacy.
The all-rounder has collaborated with the Legends Arena Karachi, where he will create a state-of-the-art cricket academy for the young and new talent in Karachi. This is a much-appreciated and needed step that several other legends should have taken.
He announced this in a statement on social media, saying:
“I am thrilled to announce my association with Legends Arena. I will be running my cricket academy, L.A Boom Boom Cricket Academy, which will provide the highest level of coaching and training to young and professional cricketers.”

Earlier this year, Shahid Afridi took another step towards this mission by laying the foundation stone for a new cricket academy at the Sariab Sports Complex in Quetta.
The academy, which will be established under the Shahid Afridi Foundation, aims to provide professional training and coaching to aspiring cricketers in the region. In addition to this, Afridi launched the Mega Star League (MSL) in the previous year, which saw the participation of several former cricketers such as Misbah-ul-Haq, Abdul Razzaq, and Inzamam-ul-Haq.
