Pakistanis were shocked with the news of Shahroz Sabzwari and Syra Shahroz divorcing. The people were still accepting the idea of their favorite couple not together when the news of Shahroz Sabzwari and Sadaf Kanwal getting married spread like wildfire.
As expected, people started jumping to conclusion. Some defended him with congratulations to the new couple, while the majority of them jumped to criticize the couple. Some went as far as calling Sadaf Kanwal a homewrecker and Shahroz a fool for divorcing a gem.
While Syra has kept her silence through this whole process, Shahroz had to take a stand for himself and his new wife. He posted a new video on his Instagram to defend his family and clear up the confusion regarding the allegations of him cheating on Syra Shahroz.
Shahroz Sabzwari’s Stand on His New Marriage
Shahroz posted the video on his Instagram yesterday and shared his honest thoughts while he defended his family. In the video, he said, “I am recording this video to defend the integrity of my family, who is being maligned in the course of the matter, something which I deserve to do rightfully.”
He says about the allegations of him cheating on his ex-wife Syra,”Syra and I decided to part ways in August, 2019. The reason behind our separation was not Sadaf, or any other woman. I can safely challenge any person to provide evidence to prove otherwise.”
He also added about his new wife, “I met Sadaf through work, three to four months after separation with Syra and she was a colleague back then. Syra and I tried to work on our marriage. However, there was a disagreement between us over a very personal matter, which then led to divorce.”
He explained that he never wanted to divorce Syra, but circumstances and their inability to resolve the matters led to their divorce. He said, “At that time, I was not involved with Sadaf in any which way. I am making this video for my daughter who I love very much. When she grows up and asks about the things being said, I will have this video to show her in my defense.”
“People wanted me to remain silent and look the other way on the all the allegations being put on me. However, I will defend my family, my wife Sadaf, till the very last breath,” he concluded.
Shahroz Sabzwari and Sadaf Kanwal confirmed their marriage on Sunday, 31st May, 2020.
