Spotify, world-renowned Sweden music streaming company is to launch in Pakistan. The rumors of its launch were on the lane in NOVEMBER 2020.

Along with Pakistan, the services of company are to be launched in over 80 new markets across the globe. After its launch in new markets, over one billion people will be able to utilize its services around the world.

Spotify made the announcement via its official Twitter account sating, We launch in 80+ new markets over the next few days. See you soon Bangladesh, Pakistan and Nigeria.” A video posted on the platform mentioned the names of the countries where it will be launching its free services.

Spotify Premium account subscription details

Music enthusiasts will be able to download the service via iOS and Android apps. To get ad-free access, to download music and to skip unlimited songs, listeners can upgrade to Spotify Premium account. Premium account of the company only charges Rs299 for single user each month.

For the Family subscription plan, users will be paying Rs479 each month where up to six members living under one roof can avail services of company.

Two people living under same home address can also subscribe to services with its Spotify Premium DUO for Rs390 per month.

Additionally, there’s also a premium for students at the cheapest rate of Rs149 each month.

The app is now totally free of cost to be used within the country.

Spotify comprises of 155 million Premium subscribers, 350 million monthly active listeners, and over 70 million local and international artists’ tracks. Also, the app already holds the playlists comprising of Pakistani hit music, Drama OSTs, Pakistani Indie 101 and many others.

The best thing is that users having Zong and Telenor as their mobile network can pay charges for premium account by using their mobile credit.
