Telenor Denies Closure of It’s Operations in Pakistan

The news was circulating regarding the fate of Telenor in Pakistan after a major media outlet revealed the telecommunication company was packing its bags and closing its doors in Pakistan. That news came in July and now, the telecommunication company has taken to Twitter to deny those claims.

The original news claimed that the popular telecommunication company was either considering merging with another company or simply selling it. Things not looking good for the company as most of their service centers. And their prices have gone sky high and their customers are not happy with the company or their services at all.

According to the statement released by Telenor in their original Twitter post. The company revealed they “remain committed to serving” their customers. And called the story posted by the major media outlet incorrect. They concluded their statement by stating:

“We look forward to bringing (you) the best services & solutions as we have in the past.”

Instead of support, the consumers have inundated the post with complaints about their service. More and more customers are sharing their grievances with the brand and its social media team I scrambling to do some damage control.
