Ufone Successfully Tests 5G Technology

After months of speculations and feeling envious of the rest of the world, Ufone becomes the first telecommunication company in Pakistan that is testing 5G services before they make it available across Pakistan.

The good news came at the heels of the announcement made by the Federal Minister for Information Technology that 5G services will be widely available in Pakistan by December 2022. The agreemen was signed between Telenor and Universal Service Fund in which they promised to high-speed internet services to places such as Upper and Lower Dir as well as Chitral.

Just a few hours ago, Ufone teased its consumers with the promise of something big coming their way. They shared a countdown to number 5 and asked their consumers to stay tuned. No was expecting Ufone to announce this major surprise.

They have yet to announce what the “limited environment” would be, but it is expected that it will bring some good news. If they succeed at this trial, Ufone will become the first telecommunication company to offer 5G internet services in Pakistan.
