Xiaomi is gearing to launch yet another product and this time it is the much-awaited Mi Band 6. After the successful release of Mi Band 5, the Chinese tech giant is ready to its new smartwatch that is expected to be better than ever before.
Xiaomi launched the coveted Mi Band 5 just last July and its upgrade is just around the corner. While initially it was expected that its successor will arrive in July as well, it seems like Xiaomi has other plans for its fitness tracker smartwatch range.
Here is what we know about the brand-new Mi Band 6 and what you can expect from it.
Features and Specifications of Mi Band 6
The new fitness tracker will come with latest technologies and new features that the brand has mastered. While there seems to be definite improvement with features, the design and the layout of the band looks almost exactly the same as Mi Band 5.
The screen of the band is going to be bigger than the last one and that is one of the biggest changes in the new launch. The rest of the styling seems to be the same, however, there isn’t much we can say about it yet.
The Mi Band 6 will come with magnetic charging cable that was previous teased in leaked images and renditions. A video teaser of the band was also shared by Xiaomi’s Head of Product Marketing, Abi Go.
The brand-new band will show blood oxygen levels, which is a new feature. This is the feature that was expected to be launched in Band 5, but it didn’t make the cut. Another feature that has been confirmed is that the display will show up to 30 sporting modes, 19 new exercising modes as well as GPS.
It will also come with a Pomodoro timer and you will be able to use all your household devices that are on the Mi Home platform. More information regarding this will be revealed on Monday during its global launch event.
The Mi Band 6 will first launch on 29th March in China and it will then begin to launch in individual countries around the world.
