The 10s looks to be the final member of the 10 series and it seems to have captured the best of each smartphone in the series.

Performance Specifications

Featuring some of the best features in the smartphone, the Realme handset comes with an Android 12 operating system that will be supported by a Realme UI 3.0 user interface. This is a dual SIM, Nano SIM dual standby smartphone that will support 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies for smooth streaming and gaming.

The Realme 10s will come with a 2.4 octa-core processor that will be supported by MediaTek MT6833P Dimensity 810 chipset and Mali G57 MC2 GPU. And as for memory options, the smartphone will come with two options. These are:

  • 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM
  • 8GB RAM with 256GB ROM

The smartphone will feature a dedicated slot for a microSDXC card.

Screen and Camera Specifications

The Realme smartphone will feature a 6.6-inch PLS LCD touchscreen. The screen will feature 1080 x 2408 pixels resolution and deliver 400 pixels per inch density. While no information has been shared about screen protection, the screen will have a 90Hz refresh rate.

As for the camera specifications, the smartphone will feature an 8MP lens front camera. With this camera, you can capture videos in 1080p. The primary camera has a 50MP wide lens as well as a 0.3MP depth lens with LED flash. You can capture videos in 1080p with this camera.

Kamyab Jawan Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme Relaunched as PM Youth Business Loan Program

The federal government of Pakistan has relaunched the Prime Minister Youth Business Loan under the guidance of Prime Minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif. This is a micro-finance interest-free and subsidized loan scheme for young and upcoming entrepreneurs.

The project was suspended for a total of five months before it was relaunched with a few changes made to it. Thanks to the changes made, this loan scheme is also great for agriculture operations and businesses on a smaller or medium scale.

What Do You Get with Prime Minister Youth Business Loan?

A notification was issued by the State Bank of Pakistan in which it stated, “the revised scheme has introduced two new components of financing, namely micro-loans and agriculture loans.” You can get a total of Rs 75 lacs in loan in three slabs that need to be returned in nine years.

A total of one-fourth of these loans will be provided to female entrepreneurs, which is a great sign. The processing time of the loan is promised to take not more than 1.5 months.

Who is Eligible for this Loan?

The Youth Business Loan is for a maximum number of people who have a solid business plan and can return it in the specified time. The eligibility criteria for the loan are:

  • The loan borrower needs to be a Pakistan national.
  • The borrower should be between the ages of 21 years and 45 years with entrepreneurial potential.
  • The borrower should have completed matriculation or its equivalent.
  • If not matriculate, the borrower must have a degree in IT or E-commerce related to business. In such cases, the age limit will be lowered to 18 years.
  • In case of an agricultural loan, State Bank Indicative Credit Limits and Eligible Items for Agriculture Financing 2020 will be applied.

How many loans Can You Take?

You can draw up to Rs. 500,000 in the first tier, up to Rs. 1,500,000 in the second tier, and up to Rs. 75 million in the third tier.

The Prime Minister Youth Business Loan was first introduced by Imran Khan’s government, but it was stopped by Shehbaz Sharif’s government. It was previously known as Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme.

Reko Diq project deal has been given approval by the Federal Cabinet which leads to the final signing of agreement on December 15. Reko diq project will get into its implementation phase, once the deal is signed.

It is stated in the press release that Federal Cabinet meeting was chaired by Honorable Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and other ministerial heads. The Reko Diq project agreement was discussed thoroughly. PM on behalf of the Government of Pakistan said that we will ensure protection of rights of the investors.

Moreover, Foreign Investment Promotion and Protection Bill 2022 was passed by President Arif Alvi amid opposition from two political parties. Furthermore, a decision of the ECC- Economic Coordination Committee taken on December 11, 2022 was also endorsed regarding Reko Diq projects’s funding plan.

Reko Diq Supreme Court Legal Opinion

SC in response to a presidential reference under Article 186 of the Constitution stated their legal opinion that the reconstitution process of the project was very transparent and all the agreements signed in this regard were legal under the relevant laws of the land.

The approval was reconsidered under the advice of Petroleum Division. Under Rules of Business 1973, the secretary/additional secretary petroleum division were given a go-ahead to sign the above discussed deal on behalf of the government of Pakistan.

The cabinet also approved the regulatory framework for the SOEs-state-owned enterprises and its SPVs-special purposes vehicles, the government of Balochistan SPVs and Reko Diq project company. With the consensus of all the allied parties, it was agreed that the legislation was related to the extent of the underlying project only.

Additionally, in order to remove certain legal issues, a five-membered cabinet committee comprising current Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar, Minister for Trade Syed Naveed Qamar and Minister for Economic Division Sardar Ayaz Sadiq was forged. The basic task of the committee would be to hold discussions with the leaders of the allied parties and remove their apprehensions by taking them on board in any relevant decision.

Lastly, ECC has approved two agenda items for Reko Diq project, causing it to start the implementation earlier than expected.
