Ehsaas Digital Saving Wallet Scheme

Prime Minister Imran Khan launched the Ehsaas Digital Saving Wallet Scheme for poor and underprivileged Pakistanis today. During the inauguration, Prime Minster also announced that the program appeared at the fourth spot in the World Bank list for offering integral services to the people of the country during the COVID-19 pandemic.

During his address, Prime Minster Imran Khan said, “I praise Ehsaas Program for making it possible. Ehsaas Saving Wallets is particularly important because it will strengthen the banking system and bring more people into the net.”

The program was announced during an inaugural ceremony held in Islamabad for Ehsaas Digital Saving Wallet Scheme.

The program is announced to help poor and underprivileged people to withdraw money or keep it safe in a digital wallet. The beneficiaries of these wallet account holders invest money and keep it safe. Anyone can open an account using an ATM machine or going to a registered agent.

  • Balance inquiry
  • Funds transfer to mobile accounts
  • Utility bill payments
  • Money transfers
  • Mobile top-ups

The Ehsaas Digital Saving Wallet Scheme will help people save more money and help the saved money to get their financial situation better.

The features of the accounts opened under the Ehsaas Saving Wallets Program will include:

Prime Minster Imran Khan further announced that the Ehsaas Digital Saving Wallet Scheme will be best for women and empowering them. He said, “This step will make women financially independent and enable them to make their financial decisions.”

He further said, “Unless or until the downtrodden segments are uplifted, prosperity can’t be achieved. We are making efforts to help such segments in the society and take steps for their welfare.”

The Scheme is part of the Ehsaas Financial Inclusion Strategy. It will work in tandem with the Kafaalat household system that is aimed at managing financial shocks, investment to increase earnings, meet emergency needs and to overall add financial stability into family systems.

Her elder sister Maham is egotistical and hellbent on getting revenge for her mother. She marries the son of her phupho who encouraged her father to marry another woman now married to Dawar, she plans on ruining the life of her mother-in-law while using Nawera as her scape goat.

The drama is written by Samira Fazal who has written blockbuster drama serials such as Mann Mayal, Vasal, Noor Pur Ki Rani, Mera Saaein and Badi Aapa. She has also received Lux Style Award for Best TV Writer 2012.

The drama serial Mohlat is directed by Saima Waseem who has directed dramas such as Ishqiya, Gumrah and Kahin Deep Jalay. It is produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi under the banner of 7th Sky Entertianment.
