Top Gaming Laptops of 2017

0

With the most searchable query of buying top of the line Windows gaming, it’s tough to locate an intense gaming station that will play the most difficult of activity, throughout the day and at the peak of providing the best high-resolution displays. Today’s article is currently to clear out that sort of problem into something constructive information to let all the gamers and laptop freaks-know the top most gaming laptops with their best specifications and most truthful reviews.

  1. Dell Inspiron 15 7559

Lastly from the family of dell laptops, the Inspiron 15 7000 Series came out to be the most durable bought laptop to survive as desktop replacement at home or the office. Its powerful distinct graphics display will please any gamers and professional despite of the fact its reflective screen and a trying trackpad knocks out visibility for the users. If all these setbacks don’t hold you back, then get it right away.

  1. Asus RoG GL552VW-DM201T

Asus’s one and only RoG GL552 is affordable with lower-spec laptop on the RoG G752 claiming to be the best gaming laptops ever. With its artificial parts of the design being poor, its screen is not that good and making its trackpad rather annoying than being an accessible feature. However, in search of getting a good gaming experience laptop and within the offered price, this is a pretty good catch.

  1. Alienware 17

Alienware 17 is among the best gaming laptops you can ever buy. At this point we just need to check out it’s relevant competition like the Asus G752, Acer G9-791 and so on to find out which will become our recommended for 2017 gamers with heavy pockets to spend on. Great performance is no doubt there in the Alienware box, but what really is to commend on is its large and super quiet fans usage. No matter how much hard work it is going inside, Alienware will never let you know on the outside. The main concern is one around price and is among the most selling laptops in Bangladesh. While the Alienware 17’s basic specifications appear at first competitive, by leaving out the expensive but likely popular 16GB RAM and SSD upgrades, the most desirable configurations for the people are still going to end up rather expensive.

  1. Asus RoG G752VM

Asus’s amazingly new ROG G752VM is one of the top gaming laptops especially designed for those who want top performance with a compact design to be handled with ease. Its designprevents it from getting extremely hot or loud even on the toughest amount of pressure that makes the companypretty confident enough to make the step-up model with the Nvidia GTX 1070 GPU great enough to use. As the prices of high-end models like the MacBook Pro and HP Spectre 13 have increased, Asus ROG G752VM is still a better buy than last year’s model with its latest 10-series Nvidia graphics cards.

Despite of having two rungs lower, its gaming performance is not all that far from the former GTX 980M, and like that of the desktop-grade GTX 970 making it perfect for 1080p Resolution gaming. There are still few issues likeits textured glass trackpad would have been more suitable and we’d like to see Asus put an extra effort into the sound quality of its speaker rather than just making it loud.

  1. MSI GL62-6QC 065UK

The MSI GL62 looks like a normal gaming laptop, but it has a few neat tricks on its sleeves hold up its position in the market. Though its SteelSeries keyboard may not be appealing for everyone, but its mechanical key-inspired feel is exclusive, and its display color capacity is very inspiring at the price offered, even if the screen won’t blow you away in other aspects.

This laptop may not be suitable for hardcore gamers or performance snobs, but it is still a solid gaming laptop with the right level of future-proofing providing the best display which makes it an excellent first impression.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Is Back. So, What’s The Deal?

0

Samsung’s most controversial phone ever, hands down, is back once again. For the third time in this phone’s rather unfortunate life, it is ready to hit the shelves.

For those who’re unaware of the whole series of mishaps, a small percentage of the much hyped and highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note 7 started exploding after its launch. This issue gained popularity as the victims took it to social media. While the social media used this opportunity to troll the Korean smartphone giant, Samsung was genuinely concerned. Ultimately, Samsung ended up recalling the devices and offered a replacement however, much to their dismay, the replaced devices didn’t fare quite well either.
Now, for the third time, Samsung is gearing up to launch the 7th iteration of the Note series. Samsung has labeled these refurbished devices as Galaxy Note Fan edition.
The Galaxy Note Fan Edition offers impressive specs. It retains the 5.7 inch display and the resolution however, it comes with a smaller 3200 mAh battery. The design is also pretty much the same except for the Galaxy Note Fan Edition branding on the back.

Just like the previous Note 7, the phone is IP68 certified, making it water and dust resistant. The Galaxy Note Fan Edition also retains Bixby AI and a lot of other features from the original Note 7. It is likely to be available in four colours including Blue Coral, Black Oynx, Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium.

According to various sources, the Galaxy Note Fan Edition will cost around $611, which is considerably lower than the introductory price of the Galaxy Note 7. Initially, it would only be available in South Korea however, it is expected to hit other major markets later this year.

Another thing worth mentioning here is that Samsung has confirmed that they tested the battery through its improved 8-point battery safety check, so we’re assuming and hoping that this one won’t explode.

OnePlus 5 Overview and Availability in Pakistan

1

OnePlus has finally put rumors and speculations to rest as they announced their latest device, the OnePlus 5 earlier this month.
So what’s all the hype about? Hailed as flagship killers, OnePlus devices have always provided something to the consumers to cheer about.  The company has maintained their tradition as they introduced their latest flagship device. The OnePlus 5 offers extra-ordinary features and a great value for money.

Features

The OnePlus 5 is a fairly good looking device with the design insanely similar to that of the iPhone 7 Plus. The device offers a metallic body all around with smooth matte finish.
The display is a 5.5’ 1080p FHD panel with a pixel density of 401ppi, which is kind of disappointing considering the current standards for a flagship display are over QHD.
Even though the display is weak on paper, it actually manages to outperform any FHD panel out there.

The OnePlus 5 includes an extremely impressive set of cameras. On the back we have a dual-camera setup with one being 16 MP and the other one being 20 MP. The rear dual-cameras offer larger aperture and fast autofocus. The secondary camera is a 16 MP shooter.

The internals of this device are pretty impressive too. It comes with 6/8 GB of Ram which is more than enough for heavy usage and multitasking. The storage options include 64 and 128 GB which again, are sufficient for an average user.

This devices runs on the latest Android version (7.1.1) with OnePlus’s own Oxygen OS over it. The chipset used inside is a Snapdragon 835 and GPU Andreo 540. The phone sports an octa-core processor, which combined with the chipset and the CPU, is likely to ensure flawless and snappy performance.

The OnePlus 5 includes a 3300 mAh non-removable battery, which should have enough juice to keep up for an entire day. Apart from that, the OnePlus 5 offers fast-charging, Wi-Fi direct, dash charge and a fingerprint sensor of course.

Pricing and Availability

Pricing is perhaps what makes OnePlus devices standout amongst the rest. The 5th and the latest iteration of the series cost $479 for the 6 GB Ram and 64 GB Rom version while the one with 8 GB of Ram and 128 GB Rom costs $540.
Even though the prices are slightly higher compared to previous years, the prices seem justified considering the standout specs and features offered in this device.

As you may or may not know, the OnePlus devices aren’t officially available in Pakistan however, you can purchase the OnePlus 5 from various local or online stores with ishopping, Homeshopping and Shophive being the most notable out of them.
The prices you’ll get in Pakistan are also likely to be higher than the official prices.
