Proton Saga is the brand-new sedan that is finally launched in Pakistan. The competition is fierce in the market with more and more new brands and veterans of the market launching new sedan. Proton, the Malaysian automotive brand is ready to make a bang with their brand-new Saga sedan and win the hearts of the Pakistani consumers.
After the initial announcement in February, the Proton Saga is finally launched in Pakistan in a virtual ceremony. The sedan will now be available in Pakistan in three variants that are called Standard MT, Standard AT and Ace AT.
They have also announced two Limited Edition R3 Sports variants that will be slightly more expensive than the other three variants.
Proton has also announced prices for all three variants as well.
Performance Specifications
The Proton Saga will come with a two engine options. The regular variants will come with 1.3 liter 4 cylinder engine. The engine will come with the option of 5 speed manual transmission or 4 speed automatic transmission. The engine is capable of producing 91 horsepower and 120 Nm of torque.
The second engine option available is a 1.3 liter 4 cylinder engine that will be available with the limited edition variants. This engine will also be available with 4 speed manual and automatic transmission. This engine is capable of producing 95 horsepower and 120 Nm of torque.

The Proton Saga is now available in Pakistan. The price of the three standard variants is:
- Standard MT will come at a price of Rs. 1,975,000
- Standard AT will come at a price of Rs. 2, 125, 000
- Ace AT will come at a price of Rs. 2, 225,000
The price of the Limited Edition R3 Sports variants will be:
- R3 (Limited Edition) MT will come at a price of Rs. 2, 175,000
