Samsung launched the brand-new Samsung Galaxy S21 as their new flagship smartphone in today’s Galaxy Unpack event. With the announcement of the new smartphone almost official, the world cannot wait until the smartphone is finally here.
We have been seeing a lot of speculations and leaks, but nothing was confirmed. Now finally, Samsung revealed all information to their global customers during the Galaxy Unpack event.
Here is what we know of the new smartphone and what you can expect from this all-new entry into the smartphone market of Pakistan.
Performance & Specifications
To start with, the Samsung Galaxy S21 will have Android 11 operating system that will be supported by Samsung’s brand new One user interface. The smartphone is going to be a Hybrid dual SIM phone with Dual standby nano-SIM. The smartphone will feature 3G, 4G and 5G technology support.
As for the actual performance specifications, the smartphone will be powered by a 2.73 Ghz Octa Core CPU that is supported by an Exynos 2100 chipset. The Samsung Galaxy S21 will come with 8GB RAM and an option between 128GB and 256GB ROM. There is an option for expandable memory.
The smartphone will come with a 4000 mAh battery that is compatible with 25W charging, USB power delivery 3.0 and reverse wireless charging capability as well.
Screen and Camera
The new flagship smartphone by Samsung will feature a 6.2 inches Dynamic AMOLED 2X capacitive touchscreen. The screen will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7 to make it shatter proof. The screen resolution stands at 1080 x 2400 pixels that offers 424 pixels per inch. The screen will also have the much-coveted 120Hz refresh rate.
As for the camera, the Samsung Galaxy S21 will come with a dual front camera with a 10MP lens as a dual pixel PDAF lens. The camera is capable of taking HDR and 4k and 1080p video recording. The main camera is a triple camera affair with a 12MP lens, a 64MP lens and a 12MP lens.
The main camera is supported by LED flash and can take pictures in panorama mode and HDR. The camera can record videos in 8K, 4K, 1080p and 720p.
Price of the Samsung Galaxy S21 in Pakistan
The Samsung Galaxy S21 will be available in Phantom Gray, Phantom White, Phantom Pink and Phantom Violet.
The smartphone is expected to have a price of Rs. 174,999. And it will be available globally from January 29th, 2021.
