As reported by GalaxyClub, Samsung has submitted trademark applications for several artificial intelligence-related terms in the UK and Europe, such as “AI Phone” and “AI Smartphone.” Nevertheless, the report suggests that obtaining a patent may be challenging due to the generic nature of these terms.
Moreover, according to a SamMobile report, Samsung is set to introduce the Galaxy AI experience concurrently with the worldwide debut of the Samsung Galaxy S24, ushering in on-device artificial intelligence capabilities to Samsung’s smartphones.
In a recent announcement about Galaxy AI, Samsung stated, “Galaxy AI is a comprehensive mobile AI experience, driven by on-device AI advancements from Samsung and cloud-based AI facilitated through our collaborative efforts with industry partners who share similar goals. It aims to elevate your daily mobile interactions, ensuring the security and privacy assurance synonymous with the Galaxy brand.”
The Samsung Galaxy S24 AI experience aims to introduce a range of functionalities to Samsung devices, including AI Live Translate, allowing users to receive an instant transcript of a conversation while engaged in a call.
Anticipated Features of the Samsung Galaxy S24
Images of the highly awaited Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra have emerged on the X platform, thanks to user David Martin, as reported by 9to5 Google. The leaked photos depict the flagship smartphone in a silver color and unveil significant hardware enhancements. ICE UNIVERSE, another contributor on the X platform, has also disseminated these leaked images, affirming their credibility as authentic depictions of the forthcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The leaked image suggests a departure from the usual curved sides characteristic of the smartphone, with the screen exhibiting a distinctly flatter profile compared to its predecessor. As a result, the sides of the smartphone appear more substantial in this latest version. This transition to a flatter screen and thicker sides deviates from Samsung’s typical use of curved screens, injecting an element of anticipation into the unveiling of the actual Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
