Director Rian Johnson picks up the story of young Rey, Fin, and Poe as they help the Resistance continue to thwart the Nazi-esque plans of The First Order as Republic continues to doubt the existence of giant spherical super weapons. So long as Star Wars 8 avoids an intro on a snow planet with large walkers, then the second installment of the third Star Wars trilogy should be something special. And Luke Skywalker will speak!

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL.2

Set to the all-new sonic backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. This is a mighty clash of brands wrapped in the comedic style of Phil Lord and Chris Miller.

ALIEN: COVENANT

Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the “synthetic” David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.
