United Bank of Pakistan released new schedule of charges for January to June 2016. In new schedule for charges, UBL increased the annual fee for their mega wallet ATM card. The annual fee for mega wallet card are currently Rs.500 annually. But from January, 2016 UBL will charge Rs.600 annually on mega wallet ATM card. Few year’s back UBL merged their normal/silver ATM card in which cash withdrawal limit was Rs.20,000 with gold. In Gold ATM card withdrawal limit was Rs. 40,000 UBL discontinue silver and launched mega wallet ATM card which actually was gold card. Now there are no other ATM card available and you have to get only mega wallet ATM card. There should be silver or other card for low cash withdrawal limit with less annual fee.
Not only mega wallet card UBL will also increase the issuance charges for UBL wiz debit card. UBL wiz debit cards are available on most of the branches and you can get instantly. Three cards can be activated per one CNIC. The wiz internet/travel card can be used over internet without any need of session activation. The current charges are Rs.150 and from January, 2016 UBL will charge Rs.200 on wiz card.
