Cristiano Ronaldo Joins Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr Football club in a Record Deal

After a wonderful career in the European football clubs, Cristiano Ronaldo has decided to take a mega deal with Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr football club. Arguably one of the best footballers in the world, Ronaldo has been on the lookout for a new club since his departure from Manchester United just before the FIFA World Cup 2022.

The Portuguese G.O.A.T ended his last World Cup bid with a loss to the rising stars of Morocco, but that wasn’t the end of his career. The 37-year-old superstar was already in talks with Al Nassr when he landed in Qatar and a bid was made for him to join the club when the new football club season began.

Ronaldo is about to sign a mind-blowing contract that would make him the most expensive player in history. He will sign a contract for 2 and a half years and will get a whopping $217 million for his presence on the football pitch.

Al Nassr wanted to sign the global superstar for 7 years and the offer is still available on the table. However, Ronaldo has signed up for 2 and a half years with the prospect of a raise in his contract after the first contract ends.

Cristiano Ronaldo will play for the club until the end of 2024 and will see a rise in his wages until then. After that, he will take on the role of ambassador for the Al Nassr club until the year 2030. He will also play a vital role in Saudi Arabia’s bid to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup alongside Greece and Egypt.

About signing the Portuguese superstar to the club, Al Nassr’s coach Rudi Garcia said, “think that any coach would be delighted to train a great star like Cristiano. I have always thought that the great players are the easiest to manage because they are very intelligent.”

Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to arrive in Riyadh any day now to sign the contract that will tie him down to Al Nassr and Saudi Arabia until the end of 2030.
