This represented a significant 46% increase from the last occasion India hosted the final in 2011.

Pakistan garnered an extensive viewership, totaling 237.12 billion minutes of live content watched. In a strategic move, Disney Hotstar opted to broadcast the 2023 Cricket World Cup for free in India, emerging as a key factor in the substantial rise in widespread viewership.
