Despite the customers’ expectations of a significant facelift, only minor tweaks here and there have been made to improve the appearance of the City. The car’s front end features a newly designed grille with a honeycomb pattern, along with updated alloy wheels that include modified body-colored elements.

Furthermore, both the front and rear bumpers have undergone changes. In addition to its updated exterior, the new generation 2023 Honda City has also undergone a revamp of its interior. This includes the addition of ventilated seats, a new infotainment system, and wireless Apple Carplay/Android Auto.

However, there is no indication from the pictures that the security system has been upgraded, so we will have to wait for the official facelift to know for sure. Comparing across the various models, the highest tier features LED headlamps, while the mid-tier offers projector headlamps.

As the facelift’s initial launch is set in India, Honda intends to eliminate the 1.5L diesel variant and solely offer the 1.5L petrol engine, capable of generating 121 horsepower in both the CVT and MT versions.

Moreover, the 2023 version of the facelifted Honda City is anticipated to introduce a hybrid engine with a 1.5L capacity and e-CVT transmission, delivering a power output of 126 horsepower. Only time will tell what more changes will be brought to the sedan and what will be available to Pakistan.
