A great news for the Pakistan’s automotive industry as MG Motors Pakistan has announced they are to launch a lineup of SUVs in Pakistan. After a great response received after the company announced they will launch MG ZS EV and MG HS, the company is now ready to take orders and pre-book the SUVs for the hopefuls who want to get their hands on these new and upcoming SUVs.
MG Motors or Morris Garages Motors is a UK Limited is a British company that is now owned by SAIC Motors, a Shanghai based company. Javed Afridi, CEO of Haier Pakistan and JW Auto Park announced earlier this year hat he has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with MGM to bring electric vehicles in the country.

New SUVs Launched by MG Motors Pakistan
The MG Motors Pakistan is opening centers in a few cities in Pakistan and they are making some of the best-selling vehicles available to the Pakistani consumers soon. The company is all set to launch three vehicles, particularly SUVs in Pakistan.
The vehicles available in Pakistan are:
- MG HS
- MG ZS
- MG ZS ES
Specifications of the Vehicles Available
MG HS will come with a 1.5 liter GDI turbo-charged engine that can produce 160 horsepower and 250Nm of torque at 1500 to 4400 RPM. The SUV is available with either 7-speed automatic transmission or a manual 6 speed transmission internationally, however, MG Motors Pakistan has yet to announce which transmission will be available in the country.
The MG ZS EV will be available in the market with 44.5kwh battery that will work hard to produce 141 horsepower and 350Nm of torque. It is confirmed that this electric vehicle will come with CVT transmission. The SUV will be able to travel for 262 kilometers on a single charge.
The Main Features of These SUVs
Both MG HS and ZS EV will come with some state-of-the-art features that are prominent in many international vehicles. These vehicles will come with Rear Parking Sensors, LED Daytime Running Lights, LED Center Brake Light and Bi-Function Project Headlights. The vehicles will also have front and rear aero wipers, body-color side mirrors and electrically adjustable side mirrors.
MG Motors Pakistan has opened pre-orders and booking for MG HS. Price of MG HS is set at Rs.5.5m and the Prices of other models will be announced very soon.
