Tim Burton’s Wednesday is the second most-watched show of all time on the platform. An offshoot of the classic Addams Family, the series had 8 episodes and the show has already crossed 1 billion views on Netflix within a single month of release.
This is only the third series that has crossed that record. The first two series to achieve this milestone were Stranger Things Season 4 and Squid Games. Considering both of the series were a massive hits globally, there is no denying that Tim Burton did a fantastic job with Wednesday.
Breaking the Dahmer Record!
Wednesday, a horror comedy, passed Ryan Murphy’s high-in-demand and very popular Ryan Murphy’s serial killer docu-series called Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story. The streaming site released the information based on its Most Popular list which counts the number of views on each of its shows. It counts the views of the first 28 days of its released.
By day 28, Dahmer had received 856.2 million hours of play time whereas Wednesday has already surpassed that with one week to spare. A total of 150 million household views have been besotted to Wednesday and, that is more than what Stranger Things 4 did in its first 28 days.
There is a high chance by the time these 28 days are done, Wednesday might just surpass Stranger Things 4.

The series has been nominated for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy and Jenna Ortega has been nominated for Best Actress – Television Series Musical or Comedy in the 2023 Golden Globe Awards. The award ceremony will be aired on 10th January 2023 in Beverly Hills, California.
