Rumors of a Xiaomi 12 Mini were already circling around the block long before but now we have first renders of the mobile phone and it looks like it just might be real. While the market for a Mini of a popular phone is still new and unripe, things could heat up with Xiaomi in the game.

Currently, we only have Asus Zenfone 8 mini and an iPhone 13 Mini in the market and neither of the smartphones are particularly popular at the moment. However, Xiaomi 12 Mini’s new renders reveal if the Mini does make it to the market, it will look very similar to the remaining phones in the series.

Xiaomi 12 Mini Design Renders Revealed

If the renders don’t change during the production process, the Mini will take its design cues from the Xiaomi 12, 12X and 12 Pro smartphones that are already very popular among the fans of Xiaomi. It is rumored that the smartphone will have a less than 6 inch display and many are speculating that the Mini will have a 5 inch or slightly bigger screen.

The design renders show that the smartphone will have a pretty unique main camera design. Another rumor going around is that the smartphone will get a Snapdragon 870 chipset which can be found in the Xiaomi 12X model. We have been hearing about the Xiaomi 12 Mini since December of 2021; however, we didn’t get a physical proof of the model until today.

Rumors circulating also mention that the camera module could be entirely different. Perhaps, this is Xiaomi’s way of keeping their smartphone in the talk for the world to discuss and anticipate.
