Oppo Reno 5K 5G, a new smartphone in its Reno series launched. The tech giant is seeming to come up with another model under the same series dubbed as the OPPO Reno 5K. Lately, the specifications of the Oppo Reno 5K 5G has been announced with the handset launching on 25 February.

Body

The Reno 5K is a slim and light-weighted device with 7.9mm thickness and 172 grams weight.

Platform

The Oppo Reno 5K features Snapdragon 750G, a Qualcomm’s mid-range chipset. Being octa-core chipset, snapdragon 750G enables the 2.2GHz clock speed and Adreno 619 GPU. Additionally, the 5G enabled chipset gives support to SA/NSA dual modes.

Display

The handset comes with a 6.43-inch full HD+OLED display holding 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution. The Reno 5K features 90Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, a 91.7 percent of screen-to-body ration and a 20:9 aspect ratio.

Memory

For the storage, the smartphone comes with two variants: one with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS2.1 of internal storage. If you are someone who takes huge set of pictures and needs vast storage space, then other variant holds 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. However, it does not support microSD card.

Camera

The Oppo Reno 5K comes with a quad-camera setup with a total of five cameras on board. The primary/main camera holds 64MP resolution with f/1.7 aperture.  The rear camera is joined with an 8MP ultra wide, 2MP depth and 2MP macro units. Selfie camera is capable of capturing your selfie with a 32MP shooter situated on the top right of handset.   The primary camera is capable of making slow-mo up to 1080P@120fps an 720P@240fps and videos up to 4K @ 30fps.

Battery

A 4300mAH battery with 65W Super Flash Charge fast charging support is used in the phone. The Type-C support helps in fast charging. The phone runs on ColorOS V11.1 based on Android 11.

Connectivity

Connectivity wise, the phone comes with a 5G support, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), 4G LTE, dual-sim, USB Type-C support, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Other features

            The handset is available in three colors: Midnigt Black, Green Breeze and Starry Dream.  Moreover, an in-display fingerprint sensor is used.

As for the camera, the front camera features a wide angle 20MP lens that can capture pictures in HDR mode and can capture videos in 720p and 1080p. The main camera will feature three lenses that include a 108MP wide angle lens, 8MP ultrawide angle lens and a 5MP macro lens.

The main camera will become complete with LED flash and can take pictures in HDR and panorama mode. As for the video experience, you can record videos in HDR10+, 1080p, 4K and 8K.

Price of the Redmi K40 Pro+

While the actual price of the Redmi K40 Pro+ has not been announced yet, it is expected that the price will be between Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 100,000. The smartphone is expected to be released globally on 4th March, 2021.

Samsung, South Korean Company has unveiled its 4K and 8K QLED models for 2021 in January. Company has unleashed its QLED TV models in a grand tech expo CES 2021 held in January.

Customers were waiting to know about the prices of new models. Finally, the company has released the price range for the latest series of The Frame and QLED models.

It is expected that the pro version of the new iPad Mini will be made available first and then Apple will launch a MacBook in the later half of 2021.
