Just when the rumors about all matches of PSL 7 being shifted to Karachi were revolving around, PCB and Pakistan Super League announced that the PSL 7 Tickets are now up for sale. This is a purely online sale so that there are no crowds of fans trying to get their hands on tickets and spread COVID.

PCB and PSL has also announced new protocols to make sure the Pakistan Super League 2022 edition is safe and actually gets to be finished on time this time. The first half of the PSL 7 is scheduled to be played in Karachi whereas the second half of the tournament will be played in Lahore.

In a surprising turn of events, Pakistan Cricket Board announced the tickets for PSL 7 will go on sale today. As of 3 pm, fans can book their tickets for whatever match they want to saw live in the stadium. The tickets can be purchased from cricket.bookme.pk the platform that has been associated with PSL since the first season.

The event will begin from 27th January, 2022 and will end on 27th February, 2022. All of the matches will be played in Lahore and Karachi. According to the schedule announced, Karachi will hold 15 league matches that will be played between 27th January to 7th February at the Karachi National Stadium.

The rest of the 15 league matches will be played at Lahore at the Gaddafi Stadium. Lahore will also host the four play-off matches, including the Final at Gaddafi Stadium that are scheduled to be played from 10th February till 27th February.

Both venues will have discounted prices as well as price tiers that will not have any concession.

The ticket prices in Karachi according to category are mentioned below:

  • The VIP tickets for the matches will range from Rs 2,000, Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 2,500.
  • The Premium tickets for the matches will range from Rs. 1,750, Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 2,500.
  • The First Class tickets are available at a discounted price. The Rs. 1250 ticket is now discounted at Rs. 950, the Rs. 1500 ticket is now discounted at Rs. 1,125 and the Rs. 2,000 is now discounted at Rs. 1,500.
  • The General tickets are also available at a discounted price. The Rs. 250 ticket is now discounted at Rs. 220, the Rs. 500 tickets are discounted at Rs. 425 and the Rs. 1,000 tickets are discounted at Rs. 850.

  • The Hospitality Enclosures tickets for the matches will range from Rs 7,000, Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 4,000.
  • The VIP tickets for the matches will range from Rs 4,000, Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 2,000
  • The Premium tickets for the matches will range from Rs. 3,000, Rs. 2,500, Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 1,750.
  • The First Class tickets are available at a discounted price. The tickets for final have no discount and will cost you Rs. 2,500 whereas the tickets for the playoff matches will have a single price of Rs. 2,000.
  • The First class  tickets after discount are: Rs. 2,000 ticket is now discounted at Rs. 1,500, the Rs. 1500 ticket is now discounted at Rs. 1,125 and the Rs. 1,250 is now discounted at Rs. 950.
  • The General tickets are also available at a discounted price. The tickets for final have no discount and will cost you Rs. 1,500 whereas the tickets for the playoff matches will have a single price of Rs. 1,000.
  • The General tickets after discount are: Rs. 250 ticket is now discounted at Rs. 220, the Rs. 500 tickets are discounted at Rs. 425 and the Rs. 1,000 tickets are discounted at Rs. 850.

Remember that the discounted prices are only for the people who book their tickets by 17th January. The fans will first have to submit their COVID immunization certificates (proof that they received their two doses of vaccine) and then they can get as many as 6 tickets on one CNIC.

COVID Protocols

Now the PSL 7 tickets are on sale, PCB and Pakistan Super League have released some COVID protocols that everyone will have to follow. To begin with, the fans need to be fully vaccinated and will need to be over the age of 12 to attend the matches.

Everyone will have to display their CNIC and their valid vaccination certificates to enter the venues in Karachi and Lahore. Mask wearing is mandatory. Anyone who does not comply with these rules will be evicted from the stadium.
