Samsung Pakistan unveiled three new phones in Pakistan today, at a ceremony held in Lahore. The Samsung Galaxy A8 2018, A8+ and Grand Prime Pro were introduced in international markets a few  weeks back and have now been brought into Pakistan.
All three of these phones aim to cater thee different price segments.
Samsung Galaxy A8/A8+ 2018
The Samsung Galaxy A8 2018 comes with a 5.6 inch Super AMOLED Full HD+ Display. It has an aluminum frame with glass both on the front and the back. As far as the internals are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy A8 2018 is powered by the Exynos 7885 Octa-core processor, coupled with 4 Gigs of RAM and 32/64 GB of internal storage.
Interestingly, the front camera on this device is a dual-lens setup, comprising of 16MP+8MP lenses. Â The front camera is a 16MP shooter with f/1.7.
Other features on this device include a rather small 3000mAh battery, IP68 certification, Fast charge, Type-C reversible connector and all the relevant sensors.
The Samsung Galaxy A8+ 2018 is pretty similar to the galaxy A8 2018 in terms of specs and features however, with a few exceptions. The display on the Samsung Galaxy A8+ 2018 is a 6 inch panel, instead of the 5.6 inch panel on the A8. The Galaxy A8+ also offers a 6GB RAM variant and an upgraded battery of 3500mAh, over the regular A8.
Other than that, all of the specifications and features are the same on both the phones.
Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime Pro
The Galaxy Grand Prime Pro is a low-end phone priced at Rs.20000 in Pakistan. It comes with a 5.0 inch Super AMOLED display. The device sports an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera with front selfie flash. The Galaxy Grand Prime Pro runs on a 1.4GHz Quad-Core processor, coupled with 1.5 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM. This phone is powered by a 2600 mAh battery.
