There are rumors that the Test series might be converted to an ODI series in Sri Lanka qualifies for World Cup 2023, and the proposed test matches will be played on a later date in the year. Only time will tell since the qualifiers are almost underway.

- First Test: July 16-20, 2023, at the Galle International Stadium
- Second Test: July 24-28, 2023, at the P. Sara Oval in Colombo
The series is likely to start on Sunday, July 16th, and will be completed before the start of the Lanka Premier League, which is scheduled from July 30 to August 22, 2023. It is important to note that this is just a proposed schedule, and the final schedule may be different. Pakistan Squad for The Test Series
The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the 16 men’s squad for the series. Shaheen Afridi is making a comeback for the team, and the Chief Selector, Haroon Rashid, is very happy with that news. Another notable return to the Men in Green is Hassan Ali, who will be back in the squad after a sizzling performance in county cricket.
