Xiaomi launched a series of new products as part of their AIoT lineup today, including the Mi 2K Gaming Monitor. The new range includes wi-fi routers, air fryers and a new scooter as well. However, the highlight of the launch is the new 27 inch gaming monitor that is making rounds around the internet.

Many of these products are already available in China, but they are going to be brand new for the Europe and the rest of the world. The gaming monitor is expected to be top of the class with it is brilliant new features and technologies that will enhance the gaming experience of gamers of every level.

Specifications of the Mi 2K Gaming Monitor

The monitor will come with a high resolution IPS panel that will enhance the viewing pleasure of the gamers. The Mi 2K Gaming Monitor is 27 inches big with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and delivers a 16:9 aspect ratio for best gaming experience.

  • The monitor will come with 178° angels to aid gamers best. As for other features, the monitor will feature the following specifications:
  • VESA Display HDR 400 Label for best brightness levels that can reach at least 400 nits.
  • 95% of the DCI-P3 Color Space will be covered by HDR Display.
  • The monitor will come with 8-bit panel with 1001:1 contrast ratio.

The highlighting feature of the Gaming Monitor is the fact that it comes with the incredible refresh rate of up to 165 Hz. The monitor will also have Adaptive Sync support and 4 ms gray to gray response time that can also be reduced to 1 ms with the Intelligent Motion Blur Control feature.

To further enhance the performance of the Mi 2K Gaming Monitor, Xiaomi has added DisplayPort 1.4 and an HDMI 2.0 Port for video. Other than that, the monitor will also feature a sing USB A 3.0 port and 3.5 mm jack for better gaming experience.

In the package you will find a base and a stand along with all the hardware you need to mount the TV on the wall. The price of the monitor is going to be €500.
