ZTE has announced Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro and Pro+, two of their most anticipated gaming smartphones. Known for their high performance and high resistance, the smartphones from this brand have always been a major hit in the gaming community and these two new phones would not be any different.
The best of the two smartphones is the Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro, a complete beast with a 6000 mAh battery, 80W fast charging, and a lot more. The Pro+ will be a little smaller with a slightly smaller 5000 mAh battery, but it will feature 165W fast charging, which is an added benefit.
Here is what we know about the two smartphones and what you can expect from them.
Performance Specifications
Both smartphones carry the same features apart from the ones mentioned above. The overall design, the camera setup, the software, RAM, storage, and even the chipset is the same. The smartphones will come with Snapdragon Gen 2 chipset, which is the most powerful chipset at the moment.
The Gen 2 chipset will be paired with the Red Magic R2 chip for enhanced gaming effects, better colors, improved sound details, haptic vibration feedback, and touch sensitivity. The cooling system of the smartphone has been updated as well.
The Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro and Pro+ will come with an ICE 11.0 set that will have cooling features such as a 3D vapor chamber with 2,068 cu. mm, volume, and multiple layers of graphite sheets. The fan at the side of the smartphone will run at 20,000 rpm and graphite is added to protect the screen as well.
All of these features are great new additions and directly tackle the complaints and demands of the users.
Screen and Camera Specifications
The Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro and Pro+ will come with a 6.8-inch AMOLED full HD+ screen. The screen will have a 10Hz refresh rate and will give you a 960 Hz touch sampling rate. A 16MP selfie camera has been added under the display, which means there will be no punch-hole display but a seamless, uninterrupted screen view.
The main camera is a triple affair with a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN5 sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor lens. While this is a great camera setup, the camera setup does not overshine its gaming-specific specifications.
There are nine separate antennas around the body of the smartphone for better connectivity. The Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro and Pro+ will feature a USB C port for charging and a 3.5mm audio jack at the top. Thanks to the 6000 mAh battery, the Red Magic 8 Pro can be charged to 100% in just 35 minutes.
Memory Specifications
The Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro is available with three memory combinations. These are:
- 8GB RAM with 128GB ROM
- 8GB RAM with 256GB ROM
- 12GB RAM with 256GB ROM
The Pro+ is available with three memory options. These are:
- 12GB RAM with 256GB ROM
- 16GB RAM with 512GB ROM
- 16GB RAM with 1TB Of ROM
Both smartphones will only be available in Black color. The smartphones are now available for pre-order at Nubia’s website and the first public sale will be available from 28th December. The Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro is expected to have a price of Rs. 181,500 whereas the Pro+ is expected to have a price of Rs. 150,000.
