As all cricket lovers know that next third addition PSL final match is going to be held in Karachi. Pakistan cricket board officials met with Sindh’s CM Syed Murad Ali Shah for the security point of view of the players coming to Karachi for the match. CM Syed Murad Ali Shah has approved the purchase of bulletproof buses for cricket players. Chief Minister of Sindh is much concerned about the security of cricket players due to the previous circumstances of the city Karachi. A spokesperson of Chief Minister quoted while talking to media, ‘’during the meeting, the CM ordered the relevant authorities to purchase bulletproof buses for the players during their stay in Karachi for the match’’. In a meeting with officials, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said, “the people of Karachi want to witness international cricket at home, and we will do our best to ensure that”.
In this recent meeting, both CM and PCB had decided to make all possible arrangements for the security of cricket players. As after such a long time, the board and all cricketers got agreed to play a match in Karachi and many international players are also coming to the city. Meanwhile, there are many of the international players who are still not convinced to come to Karachi for the match. However, in this meeting, Syed Murad Ali Shah promised to give all possible securities in hotels, transportation, and ground.
The final will be held on March 25, 2018, and it has been decided at the meeting that full dress rehearsal will be conducted within 30 days for security reasons. For those cricketers who are not ready yet will try to be convinced. That meeting was also attended by Deputy DG Rangers for the sake of security and shared his point of view regarding this.
