The story of the drama follows Wali (played by Imran Ashraf), who is an arrogant, rich and influential man. Angry at the world, his childhood was humiliating because of his mother who was a prostitute. However, things changed when he grew older and then his life changed when more new people in his life came and made things difficult.
The drama serial Badzaat is written by Misbah Nosheen, the acclaimed Urdu writer who has written dramas like Ishq Tamasha. Siraj-ul-Haq has directed the drama. He has previously directed massive hit dramas such as Fitoor, Raaz-e-Ulfat, Yeh Raha Dil and more.
