Geo TV has announced their very own Ramadan special drama: Ishq Jalebi. Coming to you this Ramadan, the drama serial will feature two of the rising stars of the Pakistani drama industry. This romantic comedy is expected to offer a whole lot of entertainment and fun to the fasting audience this Ramadan.

Details of the Drama Serial Ishq Jalebi
Ishq Jalebi is a romantic comedy that will follow the story of Mohammad Boota’s family. He owns a catering business that he wishes both of his sons, Rafaqat and Sadaqat, will keep the business unified. With his sons settled abroad, he gives away the family business to his son-in-law and grandson Basim.
Basim, a handsome young man dreams of moving abroad and complains about every inconvenience in his life. On the other hand, Bela is a beautiful young girl who has been living with her grandfather after the death of her parents. Being a sensible and hardworking girl, Bela disregards the attitude of her cousin, Basim and the two of them are always arguing with each other.
The story takes a turn when everyone finds out about the split in ownership of the family business leading Rafaqat and Shafaqat to visit Pakistan with their families.
What begins as an unusual family reunion slowly escalates into a series of realizations, family bonding and a chance of young love. Amongst this family dramedy, will Basim and Bela realize their true love for each other or will they fall prey to family politics?
The drama is written by Saima Akram Chaudry and is directed by Syed Wajahat Hussain. The serial is produced by Abudllah Kadwani and Asad Quereshi under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment.
