Ertugrul Ghazi to Break YouTube Record!

Ertugrul Ghazi TV series has won the hearts of Pakistanis this Ramzan. The historical Turkish drama showing the life of an Islamic warrior is giving people some much-needed reprieve. Self-isolation has been hard on the people this month and Ertugrul Ghazi providing great entertainment.

The TV is reaching new milestones every day, but the real surprise came when its YouTube channel gained one million subscribers. The TRT Ertugrul by PTV YouTube channel uploads all the previously aired episodes so people can catch up.

Now team TRT Ertugrul by PTV has given a challenge to the Pakistani to break a YouTube record!

YouTube Record to Break This Ramdan

Last night, the TRT Ertugrul by PTV reached one million subscribers and with that they started their quest to break a YouTube record. Now, they are looking to make history by reaching 6.6 million subscribers in just a few days.

In order to break the record “most subscribers in a month,” they would have to reach the 6.6

million mark by 26th May. Riyaad, the digital director for Turkish Radio and Television (TRT) has called out to all fans of Ertugrul to help break this record and called out to Pakistan specially.

“We’ve had more than 6 million people visit the channel already, but we need you to subscribe to get the record for most subscribers in one month,” Minty wrote on Twitter. “Ertugrul has gone viral in Pakistan and its episodes are trending on YouTube in Pakistan every day,” Minty had said, adding that there are more than 30 million views and over 600,000 subscribers on YouTube channel.

“However, with growing popularity, these numbers are expected to climb up in the coming days,” he hoped. Pakistanis now have 15 days to make history. The hashtag #ErtugrulYouTubeRecord is trending on Twitter and people are banding together to make it happen.

While the task may seem big, it is not impossible. With Ertugrul Ghazi’s popularity at its peak, it will not be long before the YouTube channel reaches this milestone. Will it reach it in 15 days, that is the question. What do you think? Can we reach 6.6 million subscribers in 15 days?
