Facelifted 7th gen Hyundai Elantra Revealed to the World

The latest 7th gen Hyundai Elantra is up for a facelift and it has been revealed to the world as well. The current generation is known as Avante in South Korea, its home country, and the facelift was first revealed there as well. The car will first appear in the South Korean market and then move on to the rest of the world.

The 7th generation of Elantra was released back in March of 2020 and since then it has been a real people pleaser and a fan favorite. The pictures came directly from Hyundai, which means for the first time in a long time, this is confirmed news and not a leak.

Here is everything you need to know about the 7th gen Hyundai Elantra and what the new facelift will include.

Facelifted Exterior of 7th Gen Hyundai Elantra

The latest models from the company have set a trend of greater focus on horizontal lines and motifs, which is echoed in this car. It features slimmer LED headlights, a wider grille, updated bumpers with lower air intakes, a silver garnish on the rear intake, new 18-inch alloy wheels, tweaked trim on the rear window pillars, and side mirror modules for a 360-degree, surround-view camera.

All of these features combine to create a sleek, modern look. The car looks sharper and more angular from the front. It has an undeniable sporty look that will definitely add to its aerodynamics and help with its performance on city roads.

The LED headlights have a wraparound look whereas the front fascia has a more aggressive look. The hexagonal grille is sharper to look more uncompromising and enticing. The LED taillights are now stretched all across the width of the sedan to make it look sportier from the rear as well.

The roofline slopes a little and the tweaked trims further add to the lifted look.

Interior Design

On the inside, the changes seem to be minor, with a new Sage Green seat upholstery and eco-friendly materials for the South Korean market. The instrument display and infotainment touchscreen are likely to remain unchanged at 10.25 inches each. It is also likely that the engine options will remain the same as the pre-facelift models.

That is what we know about the interior so far.
