Foreign Players Name Revealed for Women’s PSL Exhibition Matches

The HBL PSL 8 is in full bloom but it is time for Women’s PSL Exhibition Matches. There will be a total of three exhibition matches played in between Pakistan Super League matches and PCB is all set to make these three matches worth all the wait.

Pakistan Cricket Board has finally released the list of foreign players who will be playing in the exhibition matches. Players from many cricket-playing nations will arrive in Pakistan to play these matches alongside our women in green.

Here are all the players who will be playing the Women’s PSL Exhibition Matches.

Foreign Players to Play Women’s PSL Exhibition Matches in Pakistan

Pakistan Cricket Board has revealed the names of players playing in the two squads for the exhibition matches. A total of three matches will be played in Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium where the fans are expected to come in huge numbers for each of them.

Women’s PSL Exhibition Matches

Each match is expected to start at 2 PM and then the live telecast will be moved to men’s matches at 7 PM in Lahore and Rawalpindi. A total of 10 foreign players from seven countries have been selected to play in two teams and each of them brings heaps of talent to the table.

Squads and Teams

The teams are divided into Amazons and Super Women. The Amazons will be captained by Bismah Maroof, the longest-standing captain of the Pakistani Women’s Cricket Team until recently. She let go of the captain’s responsibility after 7 long and prosperous years.

The Super Women will be captained by Pakistan’s very own Nida Dar, who is currently the highest wicket-taker in the Women’s T20 World Cup. She has also been selected as the new captain of the Pakistani Women’s Cricket Team and was previously the Vice-Captain.

The Women’s PSL Exhibition Matches will be played on 8th March, 10th March, and 11th March. All matches will be played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium at 2 PM. These matches are taken as a soft launch for the Pakistan Women’s League which is expected to begin in September. The tickets bought for men’s matches on the same day will also be valid for these women’s fixtures.
