The international smartphone giant, Infinix, finally launched its much awaited Infinix S3X in Pakistan in a press conference on 12th August 2018. The event held many firsts as Infinix’s first ever Notch screen, AI selfie smartphone was revealed as well as the announcement for their upcoming collaboration with one of Pakistan’s biggest PSL franchises, the Multan Sultans. The two giants have joined heads on a project called ‘Infinix Kay Sultans’ with the aim of combining cricket and technology together in the best interest of the youth.
‘Infinix kay Sultans’ will be a university campaign through which Infinix will offer students the chance to challenge their favourite Multan Sultans players by playing with them come September.
Elaborating on their collaboration, Multan Sultans COO, Muhammad Faisal Mirza added “This is an exciting new initiative taken up by Infinix which will be extremely exciting for the young students and will allow them to have a real chance to show off their cricketing talent”.
Multan Sultans players Umar Gul and Shan Masood also joined the conference and expressed their excitement for the campaign.
With those details out of the way came the time for the main event, the Infinix S3X. Speaking at the event, General Manager of Pakistan, Willy Cui stated: “Infinix has always aimed at bringing the latest and best technology to the people to help consumers stay ahead of the crowd with our originality and have achieved just that once again with the S3X, which is a first of its kind for Infinix”.
Proving itself to be equally as capable at capturing visuals as it is at producing them, the S3X boasts a powerful 16 MP Front Camera with Front Flash, 4-in-1 Low-light Technology, and AI Technology integration which intelligently maps your face to create custom beauty solutions to get you the most out of each snap. The rear camera is an innovative 13 MP + 2 MP Dual camera with Dual LED Flash and features such as Bokeh Effect with an emphasis on portrait style pictures.
The S3X houses a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon Octa-core processor along with Android Oreo Operating System and technology for better Wi-Fi and signal reception making it efficient in every way possible.
At the backbone of this device is a massive 4000 mAh battery with 2A Quick Charge; combined with Infinix’s energy-efficient XOS User Interface, the S3X is capable of providing users with at least two full days of usage in no time at all.
Leaving no stone unturned when it comes to security either, the S3X provides reliable Face Unlock incorporated with Face++ tech that utilizes up to 1024 special facial points allowing efficient and secure unlocking capabilities.
Equally as aesthetically-pleasing, the Infinix S3X features a glossy, metal-printed body in three stunning colors –Black, Grey and Blue.
The device will be available in stores and online from 14th August. The S3X 3GB + 32GB variant will be available exclusively on Daraz whereas the 4GB + 64GB variant will be available both on Daraz and in stores as well.
