Mikaal Zulfiqar is playing the role of Nizam while Sadia Khan is playing the role of Zeenat. The story of Nizam and Zeenat takes place during the Civil War of the 1970s, where love and hatred fall together. Their encounter in the corridors of history at an unusual time is depicted in this romantic musical saga, amidst the warriors and radical nationalists.
Both Nizam and Zeenat were forced to make a difficult decision between their respective homelands and the love of their lives. The story is not just about this choice but also about the struggle they had to go through to understand what they truly wanted from life. The real-life characters of Sheikh Mujib Ur Rehman and Indira Gandhi are also portrayed in the story.
The movie is written by Kamran Shahid who also directed the movie. He is a critically acclaimed journalist and this will be his first venture in the industry. He has also produced the movie under the banner of Shahid Films.
