Suzuki has unveiled the 4th Generation Swift, also known as Suzuki Swift RS or Suzuki Swift Sport in various countries. The new swift is an interesting fusion of features, specifications and design, making it an interesting vehicle.
While Suzuki hasn’t released the complete specifications for this vehicle, here’s the most comprehensive and detailed review of the car currently available online.
Design
The new Suzuki Swift comes with an interesting sporty design. It is fairly compact, without any unnecessary bulk and everything including the front chrome grill, Projector head-lamps and LEDs give the car a sporty and aggressive look. A lot of things on the exterior including the LED Taillights, hatch doors and spoiler have been redesigned; complimenting the exterior of the car perfectly. Suzuki has definitely impressed us with the design this time.
Interior
The Suzuki Swift Sport also brings some interesting and pleasing changes with its interior. This vehicle comes with a pretty decent and lavish interior. With black leather dominating the interior, some elements exhibit silver lining, giving it a delightful overall look.
Engine and Specifications
The Suzuki Swift Sport is equipped with a KB12 1.2L Engine with 84HP and Suzuki’s Mild Hybrid technology integrated into it. This technology is aimed at providing a better fuel economy and refined performance. Suzuki also claims that this vehicle will provide a fuel economy of over 25 KM/L, but we’re yet to see how it fares in reality.
Suzuki’s latest edition of Swift will sport 4 wheel disc brakes, with ABS and electronic brake-force distribution as standard add-ons. The car is also expected to have a really nice handling as it features Rack and Pinion steering mechanism with a maximum turning radius of 4.8 meters.
Other Features
The Suzuki Sport is equipped with quite a lot of useful and handy features. These include projector headlamps, Power windows/steering/locking/side-mirrors, Anti-braking system, MID LCD for real-time vehicle info, 7” Display unit with android auto-compatibility and Apple car-play, Keyless Entry, Automatic Climate Control, Push Start, steering stereo control, reversing camera kit and 7 Airbags.
Pricing and Availability
The 4th Gen. Suzuki Swift is expected to be priced anywhere between Rs.18-21 Lacs when it arrives in Pakistan however, it isn’t expected to hit the Pakistani market anytime soon, considering automobile manufacturers’ approach in Pakistan.
