The brand-new series is expected to bring better camera, enhanced performance and overall better design to compete with the biggest names in the market. Regardless to say, the new series is a much-awaited new addition to the fans of OnePlus.
Here is what we know about the upcoming OnePlus 9 Series and what you can expect from the brand-new smartphones.
Details Revealed So Far
To begin with, we finally have pictures by OnePlus that confirms certain aspects about the upcoming smartphone. So far, we know that the smartphones in the series will come in multiple new colors, but the brand has only launched a couple of colors for each new phone.
The OnePlus 9 will come in violet and Black whereas the OnePlus 9 Pro will come in Green and Silver color. It is expected that more exciting colors will be revealed on launch day. Also revealed are the screen specifications.

The smartphones will feature the LTPO type AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The phones will be powered by Android 11 and will feature Oxygen Operating system that will make the user experience incredible.
Detailed Specifications
The OnePlus 9 Series is expected to feature 6.55 inch screen with punch hole display. The screen will support 1080p resolution with 402 pixels per inch. The phone will support always on display feature. The 2.84 Octa core processor will be supported by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.
The smartphones will come with two memory variants. These are:
- 8GB RAM with 128GB ROM
- 12GB RAM with 256GB ROM
As for the camera specifications, the OnePlus 9 Series will come with 16MP front camera that comes with auto HDR and can capture videos in 1080p. The main camera is a triple lens affair with a 48MP lens, 50MP lens and a 2MP lens. The camera can take pictures in HDR and Panorama. The phone can take videos in 4K, 108p and features dual LED flash.
It is expected that the OnePlus 9 Series feature Li-Po 4500 mAh battery with 65W fast charging. The smartphones will support wireless charging as well.
An announcement is expected to be made on 23rd March.
