The government of Pakistan is offering 15,000 (vacant slots) opportunities of internship to the unemployed educated youth of all provinces and regions i.e. Fata, Gilgit Baltistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Islamabad Capital Territory. Moreover, selected interns will be placed in Federal Ministries/Divisions, Industries, Banks, Corporations & Various Public /Private Institutions for a one-year internship.

Eligibility Criteria ( Prime Minister’s Youth Training Scheme Phase II )

  • 16 years HEC recognized or equivalent / Diploma of 3 years after Matric/F.Sc. 50% or 2.5 CGPA of marks in final degree/diploma will be a minimum threshold for the selection of interns.
  • Age Limit: (Minimum 18 years & Maximum 25 Years) & 30 Years for (AJK, GB, FATA, SP, Multan Division, DGK Division, Bahawalpur Division) as on 05/11/2017.
  • Applicants must be Pakistani Nationals.
  • Female candidates & Madarassah graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Disabled applicants have 2% quota whereas, Minorities have 5% quota reserved.

  • Those that have already availed any previous Prime Minister’s Youth Training Scheme / Program.
  • Full-time student in any Public or Private Institutions / Employed in any Government or Private Organizations.

  • Prime Minister’s Youth Training Scheme Phase II is not an offer of a job. It will however automatically end after the time period of 12 months.
  • The host organization will award an Internship Completion Certificate to succeeded internees.

PSL, Pakistan’s own cricket league, has been a massive hit since it first took off and has only grown in terms of popularity, value and hype since then. After two successful seasons, the third edition of the Pakistan Super League, PSL 2018 is on its way, promising more of everything.

The PSL 2018 is scheduled to take place in February 2018 and is supposed to be more exciting than it ever used to be. While this cricket league provided us with nail-biting matches and amazing moments, we can expect much more this year.

What’s New?

To begin with, this would be the debut season for Multan Sultans, which is expected to add a lot more to the already-hyped competition. Multan Sultans, the latest addition in the list of teams participating in the PSL 2018, is owned by SCHON group and has already become the most expensive team. Moreover, with Wasim Akram joining the team as the Cricket Operations Director, we all know what to expect.

Also, finally something for PSL fans in India to rejoice about, the PSL 2018 would be the first season of the Pakistan Super League which will be broadcasted in India by the renowned sports channel, DSport. This move is expected to increase the viewership by a great margin.

Army to Organize ‘Motor Rally’ for 70th Year of Independence

Islamabad: In Islamabad Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced earlier that Pakistan Army will be organizing ‘ Motor Rally ‘ across Pakistan. The event will start from 21st October and will be organised for the celebration of the 70th year of independence of Pakistan.

With respect to the announcement, the Pakistan Motor Rally will start from October 21, 2017 and will end on 31 October, 2017.

This rally is supposed to include more than 300 jeeps, 150 vintage vehicles and 500 bikers. These pieces of vehicles are gathered from 23 motor clubs across Pakistan.

The rally will start from Khunjrab, located at the northern point of the country and will pass through Gilgit, Islamabad, South Waziristan, Karachi and Quetta. The end point of the rally is Gawadar.

Rally will cover about 3000 kilometers in total.

According to the statement of the ISPR, the routes of the rally are less visible and chosen with extra efforts and will serve as a seed for prosperity in Pakistan.

The basic aim of the rally is to promote adventure sports in Pakistan and to showcase cultural heritage, sports talents and country’s tourism potential.

To begin with, both the devices are based around Huawei’s much hyped Artificial Intelligence. Huawei claims that their AI technology is designed to leverage NPUs to enhance performance, stimulate energy efficiency, improve user convenience through advanced artificial intelligence and minimize over time performance degradation, which has been a rather uninvited feature of Android smartphones.

Common Specifications

The Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro are largely similar in terms of specifications, with a few notable exceptions of course.

What’s ‘Not’ Common

The Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro are different in a few aspects.

Design

Primarily, the design concept of both the phones is similar with a glass back, curved sides and a reflective band running across however, there are some divergent features.
The Mate 10 Pro has a more modern appearance with higher screen-to-body ratio and slimmer bezels, compared to that of the Mate 10.
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro is also IP67 rated, making it water resistant however, you’ll have to compromise on the headphone jack as the Mate 10 Pro does not have one.
The colour selection available for both the devices is also different. While you can get the Mate 10 in brown, gold, pink and black, the Mate 10 Pro is available in Grey, blue, pink and brown.

Specifications

Even though most of the specifications for the Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro are same, there are a few exceptions. While the Mate 10 sports 4 Gigs of Ram and 64 GB internal storage, the Mate 10 Pro offers a fairly larger 6 Gigs of Ram and 128 GB internal storage.

Display

The Huawei Mate 10 Pro sports a better 6.0” 18:9 OLED display panel with FHD+ resolution compared to the 5.9” 16:9 QHD LCD panel.

Pricing

Of course, both the phones are differently priced. While the Mate 10 is priced at $710, the Mate 10 Pro costs $865.
